The encounter, the animal, the light and the decisive moment are all authentic. Without that original photograph, the finished artwork could never exist.
Through a carefully considered digital process, I transform the photograph into a painterly interpretation—enhancing atmosphere, texture, colour and emotion while preserving the character and spirit of the original encounter.
These works are not presented as traditional oil paintings. They are contemporary photographic artworks: a meeting of wildlife photography and digital artistry, created to bring the beauty and emotional power of Africa into your living space.
